Influences on our Narrative.

Our original opening sequence narrative was influenced slightly by the 2008 horror film 'The Strangers'.

We looked at this film because it was on a similar to the ideas we had to create our opening sequence 'Persuit'. We loved the intrusion element, we as a group and some students in our class thought that the element and basis of this film was very scary and a good opening sequence to do based on 'stalkers'.

I also looked at other films such as

'The night of the living dead'(1968)

I decided on looking and researching this film because it was known as the king of low budget films. Even though it's not a stalker film as such, it is a horror and does involve people being trapped in one house, to get away from zombies.

'Scream' (1996)

Is a masked killer film that revitalized the stalker genre. Audiences were captivated enough to come back for two sequels.
